Huntington Town Board votes to grant Oheka Castle owner permit to build luxury condos

The developer will need to pay $2 million to a preservation fund every year and condo unit owners will have to pay dues to maintain the castle.

The Huntington Town Board voted Thursday to grant the owner of Oheka Castle a permit to build a luxury condo complex with 95 units.
There are still several conditions the developer needs to meet before construction can begin.
The developer will need to pay $2 million to a preservation fund every year and condo unit owners will have to pay dues to maintain the castle.
Condos are expected to start at $1.8 million.
