The mother and young daughter killed after their West Babylon home filled with carbon monoxide were laid to rest Wednesday.
Hundreds of mourners gathered in Zion Cathedral in Freeport to say goodbye to Tanisha Armstrong and her 4-year-old Talani Johnson. The mother and daughter were tenants of a house that was condemned in June. They died Nov. 20.
Friends and relatives called the incident senseless and remembered the bond shared by mother and daughter.
?Talani was her world. That's all she talked about. If you look on her desk at work, it was just pictures of her and Talani ? Talani was her life,? friend Vincent Doe said.
Armstrong and Johnson were buried together at Pinelawn Cemetery in Farmingdale.
