A collection of comic memorabilia went up in flames Wednesday after a fire erupted in an East Meadow home.
Investigators say the fire occurred on Chestnut Street at around 9 a.m.
Homeowner Curt Gray is a well-known collector of comic memorabilia. Gray says he lost his entire toy and comic book collection, which was worth thousands of dollars.
Officials say no injuries were reported.
