? A homeless man died Tuesday morning after he was found critically burned behind a New Hyde Park supermarket.
Police say Randy Johnson, 53, was found badly burned when a firefighter saw flames coming from a King Kullen loading dock at around midnight.
Nassau police say Johnson may have fallen asleep while smoking a cigarette. People in the area say Johnson had been living behind the King Kullen for more than two years. He had family members living in the immediate area and had worked odd jobs for some of the local businesses.
King Kullen denies Johnson was living behind the store.
