Home sales rose at the highest pace in 14 years last
month, according to the National Association of Realtors.
Sales of
existing homes were up more than 26.5% from a year ago.
More than seven in 10 houses were only on the market for
less than a month before being sold in October. That has led to record low
inventory and a jump in prices.
According
to MLS, median home price in Suffolk increased by 16% and homes in Nassau rose
by 10.3%
