Neighbors and nonprofits are helping a World War II veteran slammed by Sandy.
The home of Navy veteran Thomas O'Brien has been filled with mold following damage from Sandy.
Home Depot is contributing building materials, while neighbors and nonprofits like All Hands are helping with the work.
The project, which includes cleaning debris and rebuilding the inside of O'Brien's house, is expected to take six weeks. O'Brien is staying next door while the construction is taking place.
The Navy veteran jokes it would take more than Sandy and mold to run him out of his house.
