Holy Trinity HS fires varsity football coach, assistant ahead of season start

The Catholic Diocese of Rockville Centre told News 12 head coach Kahmal Roy and assistant coach Marc Towe are no longer part of the school's staff.

Holy Trinity High School announced on Thursday it fired two varsity football coaches just days before the season begins.
The Catholic Diocese of Rockville Centre told News 12 head coach Kahmal Roy and assistant coach Marc Towe are no longer part of the school's staff.
"A concerning matter was brought to the attention of the leadership of Holy Trinity Diocesan High School regarding administrative operations of the Holy Trinity High School football program,” the diocese said in a statement.
The diocese added it would not comment further saying it is a personnel matter.
Holy Trinity opens their season Saturday against La Salle Academy in Rhode Island.
