For the first time in two years Hofstra University hosted an in-person career fair Wednesday.
It was a new experience for most of the students who have been doing Zoom interviews during the pandemic.
Students prepared by learning about elevator pitches, writing resumes and researching companies.
Hofstra also offered tours of the fair before going in.
"It feels nice to have that human interaction, be able to communicate, be able to read what people are trying to tell you, what you're trying to tell them. You can't really get that over internet or like over a screen," said freshman Loryn Wong.
Hofstra is one of the only schools in the region to hold the fair in person this year.
