Heavy rain creates messy travel on Long Island
Heavy rain across Long Island created messy travel conditions as people head out to their holiday destinations.
News 12 meteorologists say the heaviest rainfall may be over, but there are still showers falling through the early parts of the night, with isolated showers after that.
Temperatures Friday evening are in the mid-50s. They'll dip down to the upper-40s overnight.
The skies clear for Saturday, as temperatures remain in the mid-40s.
Sunday should be mostly sunny and slightly colder.
