Heavy rains caused two landslides on Long Island's North Shore.

Attorney Gary Falkowitz says he was stunned when he got to work this morning in Port Washington. His boss' vehicle and a co-worker's car were both buried in mud after the rain caused a mudslide. Homeowner Rose Nunez, who lives on the hill above where the slide occurred, says she's always nervous when it rains because the hill's slope has caved in.

In Sea Cliff, most of a homeowner's backyard and driveway went tumbling down into the Long Island Sound. Sea Cliff Mayor Bruce Kennedy says the rain took down a retaining wall that the homeowner had just spent $150,000 on to build. The landslide displaced the four tenants living in the house.

No one was injured in either landslide. Damage to the Sea Cliff house is estimated to be at least $500,000.
