News 12 Storm Watch Meteorologist Sam Augeri says it will be hot and humid before some relief comes on Tuesday.

A heat advisory is in effect for Nassau County and northwestern Suffolk County through 8 p.m. Friday with feels-like temperatures in the mid- to upper 90s.
Hot and humid weather into the weekend with the chance of pop-up showers and storms - mostly during the late afternoon hours with the heat of the day. Most of the time it will be dry with sun and clouds.
Relief from hot humid weather by Tuesday next week.
