- A heat advisory is in effect for Nassau County Thursday for feels-like temperatures in the mid- to upper 90s.
- Chance for a shower or storm this evening with drier weather for Thursday.
- Hot and humid weather into the weekend with the chance of pop-up showers and storms mostly during the late afternoon hours. Most of the time it will be dry with sun and clouds.
- Thursday is my pick of the week with slightly lower humidity and dry weather.
OVERNIGHT: Chance for a shower or storm in the evening followed by clearing skies. Warm with lows near 72 degrees. Southwest to west wind 5 to 10 mph. Sunrise: 5:44 a.m.
THURSDAY: Mostly sunny, hot and humid. Slight chance for a late-day stray storm. Highs near 90 degrees. West southwest wind 5 to 10 mph. Sunset: 8:07 p.m. Mostly clear and warm at night. Lows near 73 degrees.
FRIDAY: Mostly sunny, hot and humid. Chance for late day pop-up showers and storms. Highs near 87 degrees. Lows near 73 degrees.
SATURDAY: Mostly sunny, hot, and humid. Chance for pop-up showers and storms. Highs near 86. Lows near 73 degrees.
SUNDAY: Mostly sunny, hot and humid. Chance for pop-up showers and storms. Highs near 85 degrees. Lows near 72 degrees.
MONDAY: Warm and humid with sun and clouds. Chance for scattered showers and storms in the afternoon. Highs near 86 degrees. Lows near 72 degrees.
