Health officials: Over 600 LI students had falsified immunization records from Baldwin midwife

The NYSDOH says the children's immunization records have been voided. The children must show they are up to date with required vaccines or in the process of getting them before returning to school.

Over 600 Long Island students had impacted immunization records as a result of a Baldwin midwife who is accused of falsifying vaccination records, according to local departments of health.
The Nassau Department of Health says it was informed by the state that 397 students from the county had impacted vaccinations records. The Suffolk Department of Health says the county has 273 students who are now out of compliance with vaccination records for school attendance.
On Wednesday, the state Department of Health said Jeanette Breen, who ran Baldwin Midwifery, gave children a series of oral pellets as an alternative vaccinations, starting in 2019.
