Hawk frees itself after being stuck in Topgolf net for over a day

A hawk is free after spending more than a day trapped in a net high above Topgolf in Holtsville.
Strong Island Animal Rescue League says the bird had been tangled in the net, more than 100 feet in the air, since at least 9 a.m. Tuesday.
The hawk was out of reach because of the net's height, making it difficult for anyone to reach the bird.
On Wednesday morning, the hawk managed to untangle itself and fly away.
