A handyman pleaded not guilty Tuesday to theft.
Police arrested Enrique Alfaro, of Brentwood, after a missing engagement ring was found at an Islip pawn shop.
Alfaro had been working inside a Wantagh home when he allegedly stole the $8,000 ring.
