Whether it’s painting a flowerpot or throwing your own clay on the wheel, the Pottery Factory in Norwalk invites creativity of all kinds.

The studio offers hands-on experiences for all ages and skill levels – from painting ceramics to pouring custom-scented candles, fusing glass into art and even making your own plate out of clay.

“I just thought it’d be fun,” said one customer painting the words "Good thing no one panicked" onto a coffee mug during their visit.

For those looking to try something new, walk-in sessions and “try-it” classes offer a low commitment introduction to clay throwing. You can spend two to three hours trying it out. This gives guests a chance to see if they’d like to commit to the studio’s full six-week course.

Dan Feeley, owner of the Pottery Factory, said the variety of offerings is designed to bring people together, “It gives everybody a chance to work together as a family, that way everybody is involved.”

The Pottery Factory also has locations in Brookfield and Mount Kisco, New York. All three studios are open seven days a week.
