Stars, wanna-be stars and film buffs have descended on the East End.The 15th annual Hamptons International Film Festival is officially under way. The festival was created to highlight independent films and bring a variety of international films to audiences.The festival is being held at locations in East Hampton, Montauk, Sag Harbor and Southampton. Among the highlights of this year's festival are Sidney Lumet's "Before the Devil Knows You're Dead" with Philip Seymour Hoffman and Ethan Hawke and the premiere of "Martian Child," starring John Cusack. There are also seminars, panels and a variety of awards that will be handed out.The event runs through October 21.Related information: Hamptons Film Festival
