A Hampton Bays High School football player was transported to a hospital during a game Saturday evening.
News 12 Long Island has learned the player is Travis Flynn.
Newsday says the player did not feel well after sustaining a hit during the game against Center Moriches. He was airlifted from the field and taken to Stony Brook University Hospital at around 5:15 p.m.
Several sports data websites report that Flynn is a running back and outside linebacker for the Baymen.
There was no word Sunday on Flynn's current condition.
