Over 100 passwords for clerk systems used by Suffolk County Clerk employees were potentially hacked into during the countywide cyberattack in September.
A public folder on the clerk's server contained login information for those employees.
A total of 11 were considered "highly privileged" accounts.
Suffolk County officials believe hackers used the credentials to access a variety of different systems.
