FEDERAL

The Small Business Administration (SBA) connects entrepreneurs with lenders and funding to help them plan, start and grow their business.

CONNECTICUT

Connecticut’s special Office of Small Business Affairs connects business owners with resources that can help spark growth or ease relocation.
According to the SBA, more than 97% of the businesses in Connecticut employ fewer than 500 people each. And nearly 50% of all Connecticut workers are employed by firms with fewer than 500 employees.

NEW JERSEY

According to New Jersey’s Office of Small Business Advocacy, the state ranks 11th in the number of small businesses in the U.S., with over 861,000 enterprises and counting.
