A Great White shark has been spotted off Long Island!

The science group OCEARCH tagged the shark named Jekyll last December off Jekyll Island in Georgia.

Jekyll is male shark. He is 8 feet, 8 inches long and weighs almost 400 pounds.

OCEARCH says this is the first time they have been able to track Jekyll’s movement north.
