Long Islanders are taking advantage of one of the first nice, sunny days in a while Saturday.

Long Islanders were out and about to enjoy a sunny Saturday amid the state being on pause during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Jones Beach boardwalk filled with cyclists, joggers and walkers – some were wearing masks while others did not.
Swimming is off limits at all New York state beaches and pools through May 31, which includes Memorial Day weekend.
Some golf courses in Nassau were also opened with several restrictions, including strict social distancing guidelines.
New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo says that although hospitalizations in the state are trending down, it is still not enough to reopen nonessential businesses.
The New York on PAUSE program is scheduled to last until May 15. Gov. Andrew Cuomo says he will revisit whether to extend the order sometime next week, with a careful eye on a possible second wave of COVID-19 cases.
