It’s all about family friendly fun picking at Harbes Orchard in Riverhead.
Jump on board the Apple Express and check out the different varieties to pick on their 78 acres.
They have dwarf apple trees so all apples are within reach for your little ones.
Also on site, there are kids activities and a corn maze. In their apple barn, they have sweet treats.
For a rustic, relaxed pick visit Breeze Hill Farm & Preserve in Peconic.
You can wander through 2,000 plus trees on their 75 acres and pick whatever is ready. Sit by their fire pit, and enjoy the land and fresh air. They’ll soon be giving tours up to the water. And before you go, stop by their farm stand.
The U-pick season just started this week at Woodside Orchards in Aquebogue.
Visit the tasting room for a variety of hard ciders. And if you can't pick, you can try a tasting flight.
This year, many East End orchards are open on weekdays as well, but check with the stop before you go.
