Guide: Apple Picking on Long Island

Looking to go apple picking this fall season? Check out some of the locations on Long Island. Please check with the location before heading out as dates and times are subject to change.
Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced new state guidance for businesses as fall approaches. Guidance applies to corn mazes, pick-your-own fruit/vegetable operations, hayrides and haunted houses. Some of the guidelines include, reduced capacity, face coverings required and social distance maintained between individuals/parties. Please call the facility before visiting for the most updated information.

Info: Apple Picking is available at Harbes’ Riverhead location, which has 15-acres of 27 types of apples on dwarf trees, including Honeycrisp, Daybreak Fuji, Gala and Gold Rush.

Info: Dating back to 1661, the farm is one of the largest on the North Fork and offers a wide selection of apples in their You Pick Farm.
