Glen Head woman sentenced to 6 years in prison for stealing more than $600K from employer

A Glen Head woman was sentenced to six years in prison for stealing over $600,000 from her employer.
Anna Maria Restrepo pleaded guilty in January to illegally using the credit cards of other employees at the Seawanhaka Corinthian Yacht Club in Centre Island.
Nassau District Attorney Anne Donnelly says the 59-year-old used the money for personal expenses and at several casinos and resorts.
In 2009, Restrepo stole more than $100,000 while working as a fiscal manager at Glen Cove Child Day Care.
