A gas station attendant is fighting for his life Thursday after he was viciously beaten by a customer in Medford.
The incident happened early Tuesday at a Citgo Station on Route 112. Cops say clerk Erol Kilic refused to sell beer to 20-year-old Jose Olguin because he already seemed drunk. According to investigators, Kilic and gas attendant Murat Karahan then threw Olguin out of the store. Police say Olguin returned a short time later and attacked Karahan by the gas pump, beating the 34-year-old into a coma.
Kilic and two customers pulled Olguin off Karahan and held him until police arrived. Authorities are still investigating and ask anyone with information to call Suffolk Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
