Friends and loved ones came together today to say their final goodbyes to two of the victims of last week's pharmacy killings in Medford.
Jaime Taccetta's fiancée, parents and brother looked on as her casket was carried into St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church in Ronkonkoma. The 33-year-old mother of two was one of four people murdered in the Haven Drugs massacre last Sunday.
Police say David Laffer killed Taccetta and the others execution-style while trying to steal prescription drugs.
Taccetta was about to marry her fiancé, James Manzella, in October. Instead, she was buried today in her wedding dress.
A funeral was also held today for pharmacist Raymond Ferguson, 45, of Centereach. He was looking forward to marking his 10th wedding anniversary on the Fourth of July. Instead, Ferguson's wife followed his casket into Lady Queen of Martyrs Church in Forrest Hills, Queens.
The two other victims of the attack, Jennifer Mejia, 17, and Bryon Sheffield, 71, were laid to rest yesterday.
