There's snow on the ground and more on the way, but that didn't stop some brave souls from stripping down to their bathing suits and jumping into the ocean in Long Beach Sunday.
It was all for a good cause. The annual Long Beach Polar Plunge raises money for the Make-A-Wish foundation, in honor of 4-year-old Paulie Bradley.
"He became very ill and he wasn't able to get his wish and he passed," says Kathie Lombardi, of Make-A-Wish. "So the family got together and decided to do something in his memory, so no other child would ever not get a wish."
The nonprofit group hopes to grant about 100 wishes with the money raised Sunday.
