Officials say a Hazmat unit was dispatched to a location in Freeport after a call was received about a foul odor.

According to officials, the odor was caused by a sewage backup inside a Walgreens located on Henry Street.

A total of six people were taken to Nassau University Medical Center for non-life threatening injuries.

The scene on Henry Street was cleared by 10:30 a.m.
