A former Long Island Congressman is back under federal investigation.

Online prediction market 'Kalshi' reported George Santos to federal prosecutors for suspicious activity, a source told the Associated Press.

A person familiar with the investigation tells the AP the marketplace referred Santos to the Department of Justice after detecting suspicious trades made ahead of President Trump’s Feb. 24 speech.

The ex-representative allegedly bet against his own attendance to the State of the Union after bragging that he would be going.

Traders placed millions of dollars on who would be at the event, with Kalshi putting Santos’ attendance odds around 75%.

When the convicted former congressman then posted on X that he was delayed at the airport, social media users immediately accused him of running another scheme, the AP says.

NPR first reported on this referral, according to the AP, and Santos told the outlet he wasn't aware of the investigation.

"I hate to disappoint but I don’t engage with rag reporting anymore… Business as usual on my end haters!" he wrote on X late Tuesday night.

The Department of Justice and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission have not yet commented.
