Southampton Town Code Compliance and Emergency Management Administrator Ryan Murphy says a seasonal public assembly permit is being issued for the Boardy Barn site this season, under new ownership.
Sources tell News 12 the venue will be called The Barnyard - a nod to the original Boardy Barn.
The Boardy Barn opened its door in 1970 and became a Hampton Bays icon before shutting down in 2021.
News 12 is told the new bar could be opening as soon as the end of May.
