The football world is remembering coaching legend Joe Paterno.
Thousands attended a candlelight vigil at Penn State last night in honor of the late coach.
Paterno, 85, died yesterday morning after a short battle with lung cancer.
Paterno's legacy was tarnished by a sex scandal that lead to his firing about two months ago.
Penn State is now working on plans to commemorate Paterno's life and career.
