The Community Pantry at the Suffolk Y JCC at 74 Hauppauge Rd. in Commack relies heavily on community generosity to keep its shelves stocked and its services running.

The need is constant, and the pantry welcomes all forms of donations to help local families facing food insecurity.

The pantry accepts everything from non-perishable food items and household essentials to toiletries, cleaning supplies, pet food, and baby products. Monetary contributions are also appreciated and play a crucial role in helping the pantry purchase fresh food and maintain day-to-day operations.

Staff members say every donation directly supports neighbors in need and strengthens the community as a whole.

Pantry Hours:

  • Monday: 12 p.m. - 6 p.m.

  • Tuesday & Wednesday: CLOSED

  • Thursday: 12 p.m. - 6 p.m.

  • Friday: 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.

  • Saturday & Sunday: 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.
