A home went up in flames in Nesconset Thursday night as smoke poured from the windows.
Firefighters responded to Mayfair Road around 8:30 p.m.
They said flames were on the first and second floors, but the fire was knocked down quickly.
There is no word on any injuries at this time.
The Smithtown Public Safety Department is investigating.
