The Nassau County Fire Marshal's office issued a final report on the April fire that destroyed a half dozen businesses in Floral Park.
The report states that the Jericho Turnpike building had no fire alarms or sprinklers. Officials say the owner was not required to install the systems because of the age of the building.

Once it's rebuilt, fire officials say sprinklers and fire alarms will be required.
Investigators were not able to determine the exact cause of the fire because of how badly the building was damaged.
