An overnight fire destroyed a home in Babylon, according to Suffolk fire officials.

Officials say they responded to the scene at 25 Nehring Ave. just before 1 a.m.

It took firefighters nearly an hour to extinguish the flames.

It is unclear if anyone was injured.
