Firefighters responded to a kitchen fire inside a Bellmore restaurant this morning.
Emergency crews were called by a pedestrian who saw smoke coming from the roof of Villa D'Aqua on Bellmore Avenue at around 7:30 a.m.
The restaurant was closed at the time of the fire.
There were no serious injuries reported. Several firefighters were treated at the scene for heat-related issues.
