A fire broke out Sunday in a residence hall of a yeshiva in Kensington.
The blaze started just after 2:15 p.m. at the Louis and Esther Hirsch residence hall of the Yeshiva Torah Vodaath on East 9th Street near Cortelyou Road.
The building suffered considerable water damage. No injuries were reported.
Police believe the fire was sparked by an electrical issue in a storage room.
