A massive fire broke out at the Tiffany at Westbury senior condominium complex before 5 p.m. Friday.
At least five fire departments were on the scene and 70 residents were evacuated. Fire officials believe the blaze started on the roof.
Assistant Fire Chief Doug Ingram says there was extensive water damage to one wing of the complex. He says residents will be moved to a nearby shelter.
One firefighter was taken to the hospital with minor injuries, but no serious injuries were reported.
