News 12 Long Island has learned a fire broke out at Westbury Middle School, with the school transitioning to remote learning Monday.  

The flames broke out at the school located on Rockland Street overnight.

No injuries have been reported.

School officials said in a message to parents that the middle school experienced electrical issues, causing the power to be shut down in certain parts of the school.
