A Bergen County educational attraction is extending its stay in Leonia.
Field Station Dinosaurs has signed a five-year lease with Bergen County. The extended stay means updated amenities like new trails and bathrooms.
The attraction is also now Bergen County’s official education partner – a team effort to teach families about the world using the science of dinosaurs.
“Animatronic dinosaurs are life-size and moving. They roar, they breathe. They’re really exciting,” says executive director Guy Gsell. “It’s like a zoo, but instead of zoo animals, it’s dinosaurs.”
Field Station Dinosaurs reopens on June 19 for Father’s Day weekend.
