The FBI is doubling the reward for information leading to the arrest of the suspect in an acid attack in Elmont.
The reward is now up to $40,000 for the public’s help in identifying the unknown suspect from the March 17 incident.
Nafiah Fatima was walking up her driveway when she says someone threw acid on her face.
Fatima says her skin is expected to heal but is unsure if her vision will ever be fully restored.
Police say they are looking for a red Nissan Altima between the years 2013 and 2015.
