Small Business Saturday isn't enough for Farmingdale business owners, so they are kicking off "Small Business Season," with a holiday parade down Main Street on Nov.18.
Celebrations begin at 12 p.m. at the Northside School and will focus on community.
Chamber members will walk with their banners and are expected to be joined by the Farmingdale High School Marching Band, Dalerette Kickline, Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts.
The parade will happen rain or shine.
At the end of the parade, Santa will hop off the Farmingdale Fire Department truck he'll ride on during the parade to take photos with attendees at the gazebo on the Village Green near Village Hall.
Throughout the holiday season, businesses will have special events and promotions to drive customers to the downtown area.
The Chocolate Duck will host its 10th annual Gingerbread and Chocolate House competition.
