A Far Rockaway man charged with fracturing a store clerk's skull is set to face a judge today.
Police say Andrew Ivory struggled with the clerk in Convenience Grocery on Bayview Avenue in Inwood while trying to steal cash. They say he fired a shot, but missed the worker.
The incident allegedly took place in January, but Ivory was arrested Wednesday on charges he pistol whipped the employee, fracturing his skull.
Authorities say alleged getaway driver Edward Henson, of Lawrence, was arrested in March.
