Tuesday marked the final Opening Day at Shea Stadium for Mets fans.Fans from Long Island and across the state flocked to see the Mets take on the Philadelphia Phillies. Starting next year, Citi Field will be the home of the Mets. Able to seat about 45,000 fans, the stadium will have natural grass, a contoured seating configuration and various attractions. Oliver Perez took the mound for the Mets and Jamie Moyer started for the Phillies. The Phillies came out on top 5-2.
