The family of a woman found dead on a boat in Montauk is filing a $50 million wrongful death summons against the man who owned the vessel.
According to police, Martha Nolan-O’Slatarra was found unresponsive on a boat docked at the Montauk Yacht Club last August.
The 33-year-old's autopsy indicated no signs of violence, police say, but the cause of death was not provided.
One year after the incident, Nolan-O'Slatarra’s family plans to file a lawsuit against Christopher Durnan, the owner of the boat.
Nolan-O'Slatarra was a fashion designer at the clothing company East by East in Manhattan.
