The family of a hit-and-run victim is seeking justice for the teen who was mowed down and left to die.

It has been two years since 16-year-old Oscar Veliz was struck while riding his bike on Clinton Street in Hempstead. The driver never stopped and hasn't been caught.

The Veliz family placed flowers at a makeshift memorial near the accident site Sunday. They say they want justice, and they're not going to stop until they find who's responsible.

The family says multiple people saw the accident. The car is described as a gold Camry.

Yolany Veliz, the teen's mother, is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the driver.

Anyone with information on the hit-and-run is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS.
