Info: Flex on the Beach, a functional fitness (another word for CrossFit) competition with co-ed teams of four competing, is on Sept. 16. NY Fit Fest, a first time EVER fitness festival on the beach in New York, on Sept. 17, with a lineup of over 30 different fitness professionals and influencers teaching classes and holding lectures in the sand. There will also be over 30 Fitness and Wellness Vendors on site, DJ, and Giveaways from BMW and lululemon.

Old Bethpage Village Restoration

Info: Get ready for acrobatic attractions at this Fall Festival! You can find an acrobatic dual trampoline show, juggling and a performance by an aerialist. There's also family-friendly fun like a carousel, petting zoo, camel rides, sack races and corn husking contest, butterfly exhibit and high dive show, plus a riding demonstration by Teddy Roosevelt's Rough Riders and a game of old-time "baseball."

Everyone is invited to participate in this exciting competition, which not only includes giant pumpkins but additional categories for large, unique and decorated vegetables. Big Rig Truck Show

Info: All fish must be hooked and landed from the beach, surf, jetty, bank, or pier within the legal boundaries of the Jones and Moriches Inlets. The minimum qualifying weight sizes are: Bluefish – 5lb. and Striped Bass – 36 inches. Captree Bait, Tackle & Fuel at Captree State Park in Babylon will remain open all day and night for the duration of the contest to weigh the entries. All fish must be weighed and recorded by 12 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 15.

Info: Fall fun at Adventureland wouldn’t be complete without Pumpkin Park! This annual family fun event has been a landmark event on Long Island for over 20 years. Pumpkin Park is a free two-day fall family event. Family friendly vendors set up throughout the park and when children enter, they are given a treat booklet filled with coupons to redeem at each vendor table in exchange for candy, treats, and giveaways. Special Food Drive Info: Helping Hands has donated thousands of toys, school supplies, and food all over Long Island. This fall. help us continue to assist Long Islanders in need!
