A former substitute teacher from Northport is facing child porn possession charges, two years after he was accused, but acquitted of inappropriately touching underage girls.
Thomas Baudier, 24, was arraigned on the charges Tuesday and pleaded not guilty. Police say he downloaded images of young girls and boys on the Internet. Officers seized four computers and 20 CDs and DVDs from his Northport home Monday night.
Baudier's attorney James O'Rourke says his client knew nothing about the materials. Since Baudier lives in the home with his father and siblings, O?Rourke says it?s possible the materials belonged to someone else.
Baudier used to substitute teach at Northport High School. His previous arrest was two years ago when he was alleged to have had inappropriate contact with two of his students. He is being held on $20,000 cash bail for the latest charges.
