The Carle Place High School class of 2020 created a tribute video that commemorates their last year as seniors and how their final high school days were spent in quarantine.

In the video, the class explains they born in wake of the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks, entered elementary school at the peak of the recession, experienced Hurricane Sandy in elementary school, started middle school after the Boston marathon bombing and came into high school when school shootings incidents rose.

Now, they are entering the real world during a pandemic – but they say all the historical events have shaped them.
